The AirNotis: Healthy Habit-Build Air Quality Monitor | Indiegogo campaign is in full swing. With close to 600 backers, including Samsung, BLUEEFEEL INC. has already raised over $86,000. The little device uses high-performance sensors to measure CO2, CO, VOC, temperature, and humidity, all of which affect air quality and breathability. BLUEEFEEL says that AirNotis also accurately measures three different sizes of fine dust and offers tips on improving air quality. VOCs are chemicals found in heaters and copy machines. The company says these dangerous chemicals are also in aerosol sprays, disinfectants, air fresheners, pesticides, and many other common household and office items.
BLUEEFEEL explains that AirNotis automatically notifies users when their space needs ventilation. Alerts appear as a recommendation on the device, and then it sends an alert to the user’s smartphone via the AirNotis app. Essentially, AirNotis alerts remind users to open the windows and ventilate the area, whether it’s at home, in the office, or in their car. AirNotis alerts users to ventilate the space when the carbon monoxide level exceeds 50 ppm. If levels reach 200ppm, AirNotis sends an evacuation alert to the device and the smartphone. This compact and portable device comes with a high-efficiency battery that can last up to 24 hours on a single charge using a Type-C charging cable. Shipping begins in February 2023. AirNotis is available to support via Indiegogo.
