The Air Jordan 13 will release on March 19, just one day before the official start of spring. The vibrant “Del Sol” yellow suede overlays are Nike’s interpretation of the sun making life lighter and brighter. The Air Jordan 13 was originally released in 1997 with Chicago Bulls’ red suede overlays. The Air Jordan 13 Del Sol follows the exact styling of the original but with a brighter look. A premium white leather upper is offset with bright yellow suede underlay panels toward the midfoot and heel. Adding to the bold execution is the red Jumpman branding embroidered on the tongue as well as printed on the footbed. Topping off the look is a hologram on the ankle collar, a yellow midsole, and a black outsole.
“When the sun beams down, life can feel a bit brighter and lighter. Passing along those good rays, the Del Sols feature a simple makeup with an OG look and packaging,” Jordan Brand wrote for the SNKRS product description of the shoe. The Del Sol is a simple design, yet eye-catching, and it comes with the same packaging design as the original 1997 version. The Air Jordan 13 Del Sol is just the right amount of sunshine in time for spring.
