The Aimé Leon Dore 964 Porsche Carrera 4 is a completely restored supercar that’s also a fashion statement. The cabin features custom materials that involved painstaking design research by Teddy Santis, the founder and creative director of New York fashion house, Aimé Leon Dore.
Take a look at the materials highlighted in the Fall/Winter 2020 collection of Aimé Leon Dore and you’ll find the same ones throughout the interior of the car. The door panels, dashboard and steering wheel are wrapped in rich top-grain Schott sunflower leather. The sunroof and headliner are covered in reverse suede. Loro Piana houndstooth provides a striking contrast.
At first glance, the exterior looks stock but there are customizations here, too. The same shade of white paint bedecks both ALD’s flagship store and the Porsche. The classic design of the Carrera RS 2.7 is seen in the rear spoiler while the influence of the 1990s Porsches is found in the Cup 2 wheels.
