We’ve all been there while hanging artwork. You get out the measuring tape, the stud finder, and the level as you struggle to recall your elementary school geometry and arithmetic. All in a futile effort to center your picture on the wall. After hammering in several nails, your girlfriend comes in to inform you that your picture clashes terribly with the surrounding wallpaper. Because you are unable to locate a suitable stud on a different wall, re-positoning the picture takes another half hour, and you still can’t manage to hang the picture exactly straight. Now you are left with unnecessary holes in your apartment walls, and two days later, the picture crashes to the floor thanks to an improperly anchored nail.
Well, this process may be a thing of the past. An ingenious new product from inventors Marcus Lado, Alexander Lervik, and Nahema Mehta, Absolut Hangsmart takes a whole new approach to hanging art. This all-in-one device is the first of its kind to mount, position, and adjust any picture on the wall. It works in three simple steps.
First, users mount Hangsmart on the wall. To facilitate “hole-free” hanging, Hangsmart features an adhesive back. To accommodate heavier pieces of art, Hangsmart can also be mounted with screws.
Second, users can easily fasten art into the Hangsmart by securing the frame. Just pull the frame down until it “clicks” into place.
Finally, Hangsmart allows users to adjust art without removing it from the wall. As the picture travels up, down, left, and right, Hangsmart automatically keeps it nice and level.
Only if everything in life were this simple.
