Rolls-Royce has just unveiled details on its updates for the 2023 Phantom Series II. The manufacturer adds a “Series II” at the end of models that have been updated. The 2023 Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II may look unchanged from the outgoing model, but luxury is all about the details. Looking closely at the new Phantom Series II face, one notices that Rolls-Royce gave its headlamps a shot of botox. They are more angled and pulled back and sparkle thanks to tiny laser-cut star lights. In addition, the front grille gains a horizontal chrome line at the top and a slightly new shape with a new illuminating feature. These subtle changes, matched with the dark chrome option, give the Phantom Series II the elegant appearance of a supervillain in a spy movie.
The 22-inch wheels are also different and inspired by Rolls-Royce vehicles of the 1920s. Buyers can choose between polished stainless steel or a gloss black finish, and these wheels do more than just look gorgeous. The open slots placed around the rim of the wheel function as air vents to help cool the brakes. In addition, there is an optional seven-spoke wheel design made from stainless steel.
Changes to the 2023 Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II are minimal. The steering wheel received a thicker rim, and new color and trim options are available. The powertrain also remains the same with a 6.75-liter V12 producing 563-hp and 664 lb.-ft of torque. Those fortunate enough to afford a Series II Phantom can expect to see it at their local Rolls-Royce dealership later in the year.
