The 2021 BMW M5has been unveiled. New for 2021, the M5 gets a bit of a facelift with a restyled grille and headlights. BMW says the 2021 M5 has “more dramatic” bumpers. The rear taillights now have a three dimensional effect. To compliment these new style changes BMW has introduced five new exterior colors for the M5 including Brands Hatch Grey and Motegi Red Metallic. The cherry on top (or rather, bottom) are a set of newly available 20 inch wheels from the M8.
The 2021 BMW M5 interior features a larger 12.3 inch infotainment system screen. It will have new buttons designed to make it easier to access M mode, where the magic happens. Powering the M5 will be a twin turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine producing 592 horsepower and 553 pound feet of torque. An eight speed automatic transmission helps to move the 2021 BMW M5 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. Customers looking for more power can upgrade to the M5 Competition making 617 horsepower and sporty suspension. Top speed is limited to 155 mph, but for price it can be pushed up to 189 mph with the optional M Driver’s Package.The 2021 BMW M5 will be released in August with pricing for the U.S. starting at $103,500.
