This week BMW debuted their new 2021 4 series coupe. However, last week photos of the 4 series were leaked online showing most of the exterior and interior. It seems like these days a vehicle announcement isn’t complete without a “leak” a few days before its official debut. The 2021 BMW 4 series coupe features a hard-to-miss kidney grille that has been sparking controversy worldwide. Frankly, it’s too big. The 4 series coupe’s front grille could give the Ford Edsel a run for its money and is meant to attract the Chinese market which appreciates this particular styling cue.
Beyond the Texas sized kidney grille the 2021 BMW 4 series coupe looks as a premium luxury sports car should. Sleek smooth lines travel along the coupe’s profile ending at sharp angled tail lights and trapezoid dual exhaust tips. It’s a grand touring coupe that can deliver speed and comfort as smooth as the roads of the Autobahn. Buyers can expect to see a variety of four and six cylinder options for the 2021 BMW 4 series. The top of the line model will be the M440i xDrive powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter straight six engine. BMW confirmed that the M440i xDrive will have 369 horsepower and featured a 48 volt mild-hybrid system.
