BMW has finally unveiled its long-awaited M8, and it’s a vehicle well worth the wait. The 2020 BMW M8 features Coupe, Convertible, Coupe Competition, and Convertible Competition models. It’s easy to fall in love with the car, which features a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine with 592 hp (617 hp for the Competition forms) and 553 lb-ft of torque. The eight-speed transmission and all-wheel-drive system pack a punch with acceleration from 0 to 62 mph in 3.2 to 3.4 seconds.
There are two four-wheel-drive modes and a two-wheel option. The standard suspension configuration features adaptive dampers and electromechanical steering. The chassis includes a steel X-brace and stronger roll bars. The integrated braking system supports two pedal feels, one for comfortable driving and the other that’s more direct and immediate. Inside, drivers can count on a head-up display, driving and parking assistants, and center dash displays.
