Although still one of the most visually striking vehicles on the road today, it’s been almost six years since the Lamborghini Aventador has taken on the mantle of the Italian automaker’s V12 flagship. It’s a shape that still looks stunning to this day, but Lamborghini has significantly updated their V12 flagship and unleashes the Aventador S to the world.
The ’S’ version adds more aggressive design, better driving dynamics, and 39 more horses from the naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine that makes a monstrous 730-hp and 509 ft-lb of torque. The Aventador S can now propel to 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 217 mph. The biggest news is the addition of four-wheel-steering, a first on a series production Lamborghini. All this can be had at an eye-watering base price of $421,350, which will most likely rise to astronomical levels since most owners will utilize Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program to personalize their Raging Bull.
