Tasked with upgrading the iconic Countach shortly before parting ways with Lamborghini in the early 1990s — and eventually setting up hid own firm — Horacio Pagani lived up to his reputation as an exceptional designer and automotive innovator. In this case, however, he was wise enough to leave the majority of Marcello Gandini’s seminal bodywork designs in place.
With the 1991 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition, it’s all about the details. Pagani made a statement with his redesigned from end, updated air intakes, and tweaked rear bumper. He also significantly improved the Countach’s interior with power windows and seats, a newly designed steering wheel, and a more powerful air conditioning system.

Since its manufacture date in 1989, this car has had only three owners and traveled a grand total of only 2,153 miles.
In addition to its status as one of the lowest mileage Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Editions to come to market in recent decades, the Sotheby’s unit is highly desirable for its signature white paintjob and distinctive red interior.
