The Zodiac Sea Wolf was one of the world’s first dive watches, released back in 1953. The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms also made the debut in the same year, but Zodiac took Blancpain’s thunder by having more than double the water depth rating. This automatic dive watch is a re-release of the classic and a long-awaited revisit to its glorious Sea Wolf line.
The Super Sea Wolf features a chronometer-certified STP Swiss automatic movement, a water resistance rating of 200 meters, scratch-resistant sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating, and a unidirectional diving bezel in a unique and refreshing orange and light blue. With a modern 40mm case size, 20mm lug width, and 11mm case height, it is slightly larger than the vintage original but still small enough to be a classically-sized, timeless design. The Super Sea Wolf is a tastefully done modern diver with a vintage charm.
