Coming hot on the heels of Samsung’s latest monitor announcements is another impressive lineup from a leading tech brand offering all-new flagship monitors for seasoned gamers. The new LG UltraGear evo range brings together three premium-performance monitors, each featuring 5K or higher resolution: the 39GX950B, 27GM950B, and 52G930 B.

This additional resolution, compared to standard gaming monitors, has been put to impressive use across the LG UltraGear evo monitors. They are also designed to enhance the image quality for lower-resolution sources. This is achieved through the manufacturer’s proprietary new technology, which includes built-in AI 5K upscaling, improving quality in real time.

For purist gamers, the 39-Inch 5K2K OLED Gaming Monitor (39GX950B) packs a visual punch, sporting a 1500R-curved 21:9 ultrawide screen for immersive gaming, and running at 142 PPI with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. While the 27-Inch 5K New MiniLED Monitor is slightly smaller, it’s also a first of its kind in the industry, fixing the blooming issues and halo effects typically associated with MiniLED technology.
Rounding up the LG UltraGear evo monitor series is the 52-Inch 5K2K Gaming Monitor (52G930B), another first for the company and the largest 5K gaming monitor currently on the market. Here, gaming enthusiasts benefit from the 240Hz refresh rate for high-speed gaming. At the same time, the screen’s ability to stretch out to a 12:9 panoramic view increases the workspace for digital content creation workflows.
In all, the LG UltraGear evo series offers a trio of revolutionary new monitors that deliver high-performance, visually stunning results, whatever games you’re playing.
