Director Guy Ritchie and Jason Statham are at it again in the upcoming release of ‘Wrath of Man’ on May 7th. This is Guy Ritchie’s fourth film featuring Statham who starred in ‘Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels,’ ‘Snatch,’ and ‘Revolver.’ ‘Wrath of Man’ is a reimagining of Nicolas Boukhrief’s 2004 French heist thriller ‘Le Convoyeur.’ In the official trailer, we see Statham, known as “H” (Harry) take a job as a security guard for a cash truck that moves hundreds of millions of dollars around LA every week. His character is haunted, mysterious, and ultra-cool – no surprise, it’s Jason Statham, after all.
Much to the surprise of his coworkers, “H” unleashes his incredible prowess with a gun during an attempted heist, leaving them to wonder who he is and where he came from. The trailer then reveals that Harry’s son had earlier been killed in “an accident”, where Harry was also injured. When Harry recovers, he goes on a mission to find out who killed his son. The trailer promises the film to be an action-packed violent adventure, sprinkled with Guy Ritchie’s humor as Jason Statham effortlessly leaves all the bad guys dead in his wake. The cast includes Jeffrey Donovan, Josh Hartnett, Scott Eastwood, Raul Castillo, and Post Malone.
