WE Knife is better known for its innovative folding knives, but the new Notchline proves the company can build a serious fixed blade as well. Measuring 7.5 inches overall with a 3.45‑inch blade, the Notchline is a compact companion for field tasks and everyday carry.

Its blade is forged from CPM S35VN steel, a premium stainless steel prized for its edge retention and corrosion resistance, and ground to a straight back profile with a flat grind. At 0.17 inches thick, the blade provides enough heft for light chopping while remaining nimble in the hand. A row of jimping along the spine gives the thumb purchase for finer work.

The full‑tang blade is flanked by scales made of exotic carbon‑fibre composites—either Black Rose carbon fibre on the stonewashed version or Copper Foil carbon fibre on the black stonewashed variant. Each knife weighs around 4.55 ounces and includes a paracord lanyard tied through the exposed tang. Carrying the Notchline is easy thanks to a Kydex sheath with a T‑clip designed by legendary knife maker Bob Terzuola, a nod to his influence on tactical knife design.

Two colourways are available: a satin stonewashed blade with dark carbon fibre scales priced at US$249, and a black stonewashed blade paired with copper‑flecked scales for US$254. Both versions debuted at the 2026 SHOT Show and are now shipping through authorised dealers.

For collectors accustomed to WE Knife’s complex flippers, the Notchline represents a different kind of craftsmanship—one that focuses on simplicity, premium materials and purposeful details rather than mechanical tricks.
