British Columbia’s Viberg has been family owned for three generations, producing traditional footwear for more than 85 years. But the Viberg Slipper Smoke Rough Mohawk is their most seasonal offering yet.
Inspired by a vintage traveling shoe, the Viberg Slipper comes out of left field with an upper of full-grain CF Stead suede that is rough and textured. And because this shoe is slip-on, there are no laces, eyelets, or other fastening devices to interrupt its incredibly eye-catching surface.
Constructed from a wholecut pattern and featuring a 360 Goodyear Welt design, the Viberg Slipper has no toe box or heel counter to interfere with its “glove-like” fit. Its lack of integral trappings also allow this shoe to collapse fully for easy storage and transportation.
Just be careful matching these with raggy clothing if you want to avoid coming off as a stylish hobo.
