Well, Under Armour has accomplished just that with its new Curry 6 ‘Splash Party’ model. Released in honor of Stephen Curry’s 31st birthday and referencing the “Splash Brothers” nickname that he shares with Warriors teammate Klay Thompson, this shoe is currently available in six different bright and “splashy” colorways.
But the Curry 6 performs even better than it looks. Key features of this incredibly lightweight sneaker include a knit-upper for a strong yet breathable fit, a full-length speed plate for improved balance, an external heel counter for extra stability/support, and a split outsole design for enhanced traction. The Curry 6 also includes Under Armour’s proprietary HOVR insole cushioning, which provides explosive push-off with a “zero gravity feel.”
