Tudor Watches has released a bronze version of its Black Bay Fifty-Eight model that features, for the first time, a bronze bracelet. Dubbed the Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze, the bracelet’s satin-brushed links adopts the style of Tudor bracelets of the 1950s and ‘60s, with rivets and the clasp features the new “T-fit” rapid adjustment system for the length. This system enables users to make micro-adjustments in small increments. The Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze comes in a 39 mm satin-brushed case crafted from a special aluminum bronze alloy that guarantees both improved resistance to corrosion while keeping the patina subtle and even. The case back is made in bronze-colored PVD-treated steel.
The Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze is fitted with a shaded matte brown dial with a matching brown anodized-aluminum bezel. Under the warm brown dial and bezel, which retains the “Explorer-style” 3, 6, and 9 numerals of the original Black Bay Bronze, is Tudor’s automatic MT5400, which comes with 70 hours of power reserve and is chronometer-certified by COSC. Tudor’s signature snowflake hands are filled with Super-LumiNova. The Bronze comes with a complimentary fabric strap in a bronze/brown color to match the dial, which is ombre, shaded concentrically from the center to the outer edge. Tudor’s Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze is only available for purchase at the 50 Tudor boutiques worldwide. While there is currently no boutique in the U.S., this will soon change with the opening of Tudor’s boutique in New York’s Meatpacking district this summer.
