The Black Bay 31/36/39/41 S&G is a rich addition to Tudor’s Black Bay collection of luxury Swiss watches. All fitted with manufacture calibers, including reference MT5201, which ushers in a new family of TUDOR movements, the models come in four sizes, with a five-link bracelet in 316L steel and yellow gold. The bracelet includes the TUDOR “T-fit” clasp, with rapid adjustment, in all sizes.
The S&G resembles other Black Bay timepieces but with a more curved aesthetic. Tudor is known for crafted top-quality utilitarian timepieces that feel more like tools than accessories. The company has a rich history and partnership with the French Navy. These luxury Tudor Black Bay S&G timepieces show a change in direction. They feature sophisticated domed and polished sides with a curved winding crown entirely new to the Black Bay collection.
Buyers can choose from several watch faces, including the option of black and silver with a satin finish. Tudor Black Bay 31/36/39/41 S&G come with “Snowflake” hands, a hallmark of TUDOR divers’ watches introduced in 1969, with Grade A Swiss Super-LumiNova® luminescent material. The power reserve of the large and medium-sized TUDOR manufacture calibers is about 70 hours. For the manufacture caliber MT5201, the power reserve is approximately 50 hours.
