Running brand, Tracksmith, is looking to help runners push past nature’s worst with their new Off Roads Collection for fall and winter. Tracksmith has already created some highly technical pieces for the average run, but with the Off Roads Collection, the brand steps up their game once more. The majority of the Off Roads pieces are crafted from high-performance fabrics like merino wool and polypropylene. Wool sounds like it might be too heavy for running, but it’s quite the opposite. As a natural fiber, it functions to actively move sweat and moisture away from your body. Merino wool also has naturally occurring odor-reduction, which means you can keep your shirt on without letting on that you just went for a run — even if you did.
The Tracksmith Off Roads Collection includes a packable jacket, which is constructed with a feather light Schoeller fabric that has a durable water-repellent finish. There’s a back vent for breathability, a two way zipper and bonded finishes to minimize chafe. The jacket has two hand pockets with a secure overlapping closure and a large back zip pocket that holds your EDC. The jacket rolls into a small pack that can be carried by hand or stashed away in a pocket. Also included in the collection are a crew, long sleeve shirt, tee, and shorts, as well as a variety of accessories including a backpack, cap, socks, and bandana.
