Timex and Worn & Wound are back with their fourth collaboration — and this time, they’re flipping the script on what a field watch can be—introducing the Timex x Worn & Wound Field Watch w/a Twist, a playful reinterpretation of a rugged classic that blurs the line between utilitarian tool and design-forward statement piece.

Traditionally, field watches are all about function — big numerals, military roots, and no-nonsense aesthetics. However, this edition adds a personal touch to the formula. Its tiered, sector-inspired dial features bold italic numerals (the “twist”) that create a sense of motion and energy, transforming a once-stoic archetype into something dynamic. Super-LumiNova C3 lume ensures the numerals and hands glow brilliantly in low light, staying true to its field-ready DNA.

Available in two striking colorways — Whirlpool, with rich indigo layers and coral accents, and Storm, a moody mix of grays punctuated by blue and red details — each model brings modern vibrancy to a 37mm vintage-style steel case. Powering the watch is the hand-wound Sea-Gull TY6 movement, a nod to traditional craftsmanship that’s rare at this price point.

Limited to 500 pieces per color, the Timex x Worn & Wound Field Watch w/a Twist retails for $299 and is available for preorder through the Windup Watch Shop. With its perfect balance of nostalgia and creativity, this timepiece proves that even a classic field watch can have a little fun.
