American fashion designer Todd Snyder introduced an updated look to the iconic Timex watch in a new and exclusive timepiece release. Recalling the watch’s technical military application from WWII, this new Timex watch is stunning, functional, and practical for everyday use.
The new Timex x Todd Snyder MK1 “Black + White” watch recalls the iconic Timex watch used during the Second World War. Standard issue for soldiers, the original timepiece featured black dials that helped conceal the soldier’s position. Luminescent numbers on the face made the watch legible at night and underwater. The practicality of this original watch transcended everyday wear, and now the updated Timex Black + White two-tone model is a representation of both war and peace in modern times.
Perfect for rugged active use or wearing around the streets of New York, the MK1 “Black + White” seamlessly jumps from active to dress wear. The watch is 40mm and features a black band with a stainless steel case. The face is covered with acrylic crystal, and a Quartz Movement powers the watch.
