The Timex M79 Automatic is a beautiful throwback to the Q Timex 1979. The metal bracelet has very thin chain links, which was a major style trend during the 1970s. While not used much currently, this feature helps the Timex M79 Automatic look not only vintage but also revolutionary at the same time.
The newly released M79 Automatic is slightly larger, expanding the original Timex design from 38mm to a 40mm case. It also maintains a 50m water resistance rating. The rear of the case is exposed and showcases Miyota M79 automatic movement within. The watch itself features a black face with a half black/half blue dual-toned bezel. The hour and minute hands match that of the bracelet while the seconds hand is a stark red, allowing it to perfectly stand out from the rest of the watch as no other red is used in its design.
