As the design director at Timex, no one is more qualified than Girgio Galli to create a line of watches that celebrates his decades of influence over the brand. The Timex Giorgio Galli S1 Automatic is the first piece in that collection. This 41mm watch captures the essence of Galli’s sophisticated yet practical approach to design. This Timex timepiece uses a brushed stainless steel case along with a synthetic rubber strap that is secured by a unique riveted clasp.
The S1 Automatic is meant to embody everything that Timex stands for. Galli is able to accomplish this feat by using a high-accuracy Miyota 9039 movement encased by a hardened IGN/A3 glass lens. Its skeletal case-back exhibits the intricacies of the movement powering narrow black indices which rotate around a sleek silver-tone dial. Its 20mm strap comes in a black colorway that boldly contrasts the case and dial with options for alternatives set to be released in 2020.
