In recent years, Norse Projects has covered an eclectic selection of designs, collaborating with some of the leading designers and brands in the fashion industry. The new Thiers by Paraboot for Norse Projects shoes continues its commitment to leading the field in quality and style while paying tribute to Denmark’s vibrant military history.

Drawing inspiration from the Kanonbådsskure, the historic gunboat hangars in Copenhagen’s Holmen district, the Thiers by Paraboot for Norse Projects shoes blend iconic footwear design with a contemporary twist. The hangars, which were constructed in 1820 to house vessels for the Royal Danish Navy, have since been converted into the architecture studios for Norse Projects.

This rich history is echoed in the silhouette of the Thiers by Paraboot for Norse Projects shoes. The design is based on the 1960s Paraboot and incorporates elements such as leather laces and the “Rocade” outsole. Made from lightweight but durable rubber made in France, this outsole has been painstakingly selected from the Paraboot archives for a premium finish.
For the upper, the Thiers by Paraboot for Norse Projects shoes are made from lush suede complemented by a leather lining and finished with Blake stitching. Thanks to a traditional last featuring a short and rounded toe, the Thiers by Paraboot for Norse Projects delivers a more streamlined profile than similar shoes in its style.
Hand-made in Spain and available only as a limited release, the Thiers by Paraboot for Norse Projects shoes are priced at $600 and are a fitting tribute to Danish history and naval traditions.
