The North Face has introduced a line of trail running shoes dubbed the Vectiv. To differentiate the lines, the trail running designs include the pinnacle Flight Vectiv with a carbon plate, while the other two styles—Infinite and Enduris—include a Pebax or tuned TPU plate. All three models feature an upper with Matryx fabric, TPU-infused yarns, and engineered knits for durability and strength in a lightweight design. The design features of The North Face Vectiv come together to produce a dynamic shoe, specifically created to help athletes reach their personal and professional goals. The design features begin with the 3D VECTIV plate that provides both stability and propulsion. The VECTIV rocker shape makes up the midsole of the shoe and is designed to optimize forward momentum and foot strike. The outsole, The North Face Surface CTRL, provides high traction to create sure footing on any and all terrain.

While speaking of the benefits of the Vectiv, The North Face global senior vice president of marketing and product stated, “Vectiv is designed to maximize energy on all types of terrain, it powers you forward, allowing runners to run comfortably longer by reducing the impact on their bodies.”  The North Face Vectiv reduces the average impact by 10%, which over time can be quite significant to the athlete and their ability to continue to train. In addition, even the harshest, most challenging trail is made comfortable by the optimal cushioning and 306-degree stability design of the shoe. The various North Face Vectiv lines will be released throughout February.
