Few distilleries have mastered cask curation like The Dalmore, and its 2026 Select Editions prove the point. The first release, the 2007 Select Edition, was distilled 18 years ago and matured initially in American white oak ex‑bourbon barrels before spending 13 years in Tawny Port pipes and finishing in Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks.
It is bottled at 46.7 % ABV (93.4 proof). Aromas of brioche, crème brûlée and pain au chocolat give way to dried figs and subtle spice on the palate, followed by a finish of roasted nuts and dark chocolate.

The companion 2010 Select Edition spent 15 years in ex‑bourbon barrels before being transferred to Matusalem Oloroso sherry butts. Bottled at a higher 49.1 % ABV (98.2 proof), this expression opens with notes of vanilla fudge and orange peel, moves into ginger cake and almond croissant and resolves in a lingering echo of candied citrus.
Both whiskies are presented in The Dalmore’s signature silver‑stag bottles with copper collars, and each comes packaged in a presentation box that identifies the vintage and cask pedigree.
The 2007 bottle is priced at $549.99, while the 2010 edition retails for $249.99. Quantities of both are limited and will be allocated to select retailers worldwide.
