The Monaco is one of TAG Heuer’s most notable watches and is a huge reason behind the prolonged success of the watchmaker. The TAG Heuer Limited Monaco 1989-1999 Limited Edition is the third release in the 50th anniversary collection. Previous releases in the collection include the 1969-1979 and 1979-1989 variations.
The 1989-1999 version’s 39mm case frames a grey-grained dial with red and blue accents to accurately capture the industrial feel of the 90s, perhaps portraying the old-school look of TV static. The Calibre 11 movement timepiece will again be limited to 169 pieces, each of which is engraved to reflect its limited production status. It comes with a blue rally-style calfskin leather strap with red stitching that looks, frankly, amazing.
