What if the world’s most dangerous and villainous characters got together to save the world? Whether it’s through self motivation or from external duress, you could easily imagine it going either extremely well — since they would have the insider knowledge of how bad guys work — or horribly wrong — feeling nostalgic of their old ways and deciding to join in on the fun.
The same could be said of upcoming summer blockbuster, the Suicide Squad; seeing a screen full of villainous characters played by Hollywood heavyweights could end up being one exciting ride or it could be a disaster waiting to happen as they all fight for the audience’s attention. Thankfully, judging by the newly released official trailer, the filmmakers seem to have worked out a way to make it work somehow, balancing the dark and gritty with the crazy over-the-top actions and visuals fitting for the DC Cinematic Universe. Set to the perfect soundtrack of Bohemian Rhapsody provided by Queen, the trailer just got us pumped for August 5, 2016.
