The humble deck shoe has earned a surprising cult following, and Sperry’s Authentic Original 2-Eye Lite Boat Shoe continues to explain why. This limited-edition release, available through Huckberry, reimagines the classic moccasin silhouette with a photorealistic Realtree camouflage textile upper, shifting the style from preppy staple to something more rooted in the outdoors.

The camo pattern is carefully aligned across the vamp and quarters, while the signature 360-degree rawhide lacing system remains fully functional, allowing for a secure fit whether on a wet dock or dry pavement.

Comfort is where the Lite model earns its name. Sperry’s updated AO Lite outsole works in tandem with an EVA-cushioned midsole to reduce weight without sacrificing support. The foam footbed provides all-day cushioning, while the molded Wave-Siping tread maintains dependable grip across slick and dry surfaces alike. A non-marking rubber outsole ensures the shoe transitions seamlessly from boat decks to indoor floors. Weighing just under 11 ounces per shoe, it feels noticeably lighter than the standard Authentic Original, making it well suited for extended wear.
As with all Sperry designs, craftsmanship remains central. Hand-sewn construction and full-grain leather accents lend durability and a sense of heritage, even as the Realtree collaboration introduces a more rugged visual language.
Offered as a Huckberry-exclusive limited edition, the shoe sits at the intersection of classic American design and modern outdoor influence—an easy addition to a summer rotation that values both function and understated character.
