The concept has passed the concept and prototype stage and is currently in production and marks a new standard in camping comfort and style. Its 6-inch thick air floor is built to the same standards as delivered by expedition-grade kayaks and boasts moisture and waterproof coating. Perhaps the most distinct advantage the Space Acacia has over standard tents is its ability to float on water, optimizing its performance for fishing expeditions and other water-based activities.
It can be set up in minutes using an electric air pump and is capable of withstanding pressure from a 4000 lbs van, so there’s no danger of accidentally damaging it on a campsite. For more adventurous campers heading into the wilderness, the Space Acacia is built to resist level 8 winds in addition to rains of up to 2000mm.
Additional safety measures include the application of flame-resistant Oxford 300D material and a patented air ventilation system to keep the interior cool on a hot summer’s day. The Space Acacia XL brings additional benefits with the inclusion of a canopy for additional shade insulation. Available in different sizes accommodating 2–3 people or up to 6 people in the XL version, the Space Acacia promises to deliver a unique camping experience.
