Apple iPhone 12 and 12 Pro line-up owners may well be interested to learn about the new Satechi USB-C Magnetic Wireless Charging Cable. Designed to work with the magnets built into the iPhone 12 lineup, the Magnetic Wireless Charging Cable adheres to the back of an iPhone much like Apple’s MagSafe charger, whereas Satechi uses Qi technology. The Satechi USB-C charging cable can rotate to any angle, making it easy to hold your device while charging without a cable sticking out of the bottom of the phone. It also properly aligns the device, maximizing charging speeds.
It is limited to the normal 7.5W of power rather than the 15W maximum MagSafe is capable of. It should be noted that the Satechi Magnetic Charging Cable can also work with the iPhone 11 via Satechi’s magnetic sticker (for an additional cost). The cable has a space gray finish, and it measures in at close to five feet, so it is long enough to use even in situations where an outlet is not close at hand.
