The Pro variant adds a wider woofer—nearly 20 percent larger than before—to produce deeper bass and more headroom. It supports 24‑bit, 96 kHz audio streams when paired with compatible devices.

Active noise cancellation and Adaptive EQ return with upgrades. Improved microphones and tuning algorithms better suppress environmental sounds, while the system learns user preferences over time. In ambient mode, voices are amplified more naturally. The standard Buds 4 share many of these features but omit the larger driver and advanced codec support. Both models boast long battery life, quick charging, and IPX7 water resistance.

Samsung offers the buds in matte white and black finishes, with the Pro adding a pink‑gold option. The charging case mirrors the buds’ finish and supports both wired USB‑C and wireless Qi charging.
