Rowing Blazers, Wind Vintage, and Seiko are bringing back the Rally Diver, reviving one of the most sought-after designs from their 2021 collaboration with two new limited Seiko 5 Sports references.

This marks the fourth collaboration between the New York label, vintage watch dealer Eric Wind of Wind Vintage, and Seiko. The new release keeps the checkered-bezel spirit of the late-1960s Seiko 5 Sports Rally Diver that inspired the original Rowing Blazers edition, but splits the concept into two case sizes and two colorways. The smaller model arrives in a 38mm stainless steel case with a racing green dial, while the larger 42mm-class version uses a bright blue dial with more wrist presence.

Both watches run on Seiko’s automatic Caliber 4R36, a 24-jewel movement beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour with approximately 41 hours of power reserve. The specs stay practical rather than ornamental: stainless steel case and bracelet, 20mm lug width, unidirectional bezel, vintage-toned luminous hands and markers, and a day-date display with English and Spanish day wheels.

The collaboration details give the release its collector appeal. Each watch features a Rowing Blazers monogram on the crown and a caseback decorated with the brand’s “Bath Club” faucet motif alongside Wind Vintage branding. The 38mm green model includes an additional blue nylon strap, while the blue model comes with a green nylon strap. Both ship in special-edition packaging.
At $495, the Seiko 5 Sports Rally Diver sits in the sweet spot that has made Seiko collaborations so compelling: accessible, mechanically credible, and visually distinct. Each reference is limited to 2,500 numbered pieces and launches July 9 at 11:00 a.m. ET through Rowing Blazers and Seiko USA, with a limited number available at Rowing Blazers’ New York flagship.
