The Chevrolet Camaro gets a facelift for the 2019 model year with new convenience and safety features, and the introduction of the first-ever Turbo 1LE.
The front-end has been restyled to reflect its performance aspirations, with new grille and hood designs for optimal air flow that simultaneously minimizes drag. Inside, the 2019 Camaro comes with new infotainment systems with voice recognition, cloud connectivity, and satellite navigation. New safety features include an improved rear camera, an enhanced Performance Data Recorder System, and Forward Collision Alert.
Joining the lineup is Camaro’s first-ever Turbo 1LE, boasting a tailored chassis that’s been derived from the V6 1LE and a 2.0L turbocharged engine that gives the vehicle better weight distribution. Available exclusively with a 6-speed manual, the Turbo 1LE boasts 275-hp and 295 ft-lbs of torque, demonstrating that “no replacement for displacement” may becoming a thing of the past.
