For the last decade, Ressence has made it their mission to bring a modern aesthetic to aspects of watchmaking that have been around for ages. The ever-changing dial of the Ressence TYPE 1 slim X is the epitome of that design philosophy. Ressence breathes new life into the anachronistic hourglass through engineering driven by the quest to reach new levels of horology. The Ressence Orbital Convex System places disparate discs in a state of continuous orbit so that the dual-finish olive green dial rotates with each passing second. The seconds hand bifurcates the polished and matte finishes on the dial, exuding a playful iridescence depending on how the light strikes its face.
The 42mm Grade 5 titanium case encapsulates the ROCS 1.3 module that makes the unique presentation of the TYPE 1 slim X possible. The module is built upon a calibre ETA 2892/A automatic movement that gives the watch a 36-hour power reserve. A calfskin leather strap in the same grounded olive green colorway stays clasped to the wrist by way of an ardillon buckle.
