There’s no shortage of luxury barbecues for outdoor cooking, but the traditional gas grill approach is increasingly being superseded by superior direct-fire searing technology. The new Recteq X-Fire Pro 825 adopts this design approach, delivering intense heat up to 1250 degrees Fahrenheit and capable of perfectly searing steaks.

Featuring two main modes catering to the individual’s cooking style, the Recteq X-Fire Pro 825 can be quickly switched between Grill Mode and Smoke Mode depending on the menu. An Adaptive Sear Control function allows for fine-tuning of the direct flame, with the high setting ideal for searing steaks.

Switch to Grill Mode, and low, medium, and high settings replicate the sensitivity of traditional gas grills, with the open-lid convenience updates and exceptional versatility. The Recteq X-Fire Pro 825 also has plenty of space for meats, presenting 825 square inches of coverage capable of easily fitting 28 pork chops or 26 burgers.
The build quality is also high-end, with durable stainless steel and cast iron materials used for the heat deflector and grill grates. The Recteq X-Fire Pro 825 employs smart grilling technology, allowing cooks to monitor temperatures and adjust settings via Wi-Fi connections using the Recteq smartphone application.
The Recteq X-Fire Pro 825 includes two meat temperatures and is available at retailers for $1550. An optional rotisserie spit rod add-on costs an additional $250.
