It is a well known fact that fashion designer Ralph Lauren is an avid collector of classic and exotic cars. His collection includes 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, 1955 Jaguar XKD, 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL and more that his collection can seem like a day out at the Concours d’Elegance. His latest watch borrows inspiration from one of his most prized possessions, the Bugatti 57SC Atlantic Coupe, a car that is lusted by many car enthusiasts. The Ralph Lauren Skeleton Automotive Watch face is surrounded in Amboyna burl wood, a type of wood that is commonly used in high-end vehicle dashboards, while the watch face mimics the look of an open engine bay. Looks like Ralph Lauren also got inspired by the Bugatti when pricing the watch as it is a whopping $35,000.
