Quad’s prestige has been earned over several decades, with the manufacturer developing high-end audio equipment since the release of the QA12 and QA12P amplifiers. The new Quad ESL 2812X and ESL 2912X Loudspeakers reflect the breadth of engineering knowledge and all-around ambition that has driven the brand to the forefront of the audiophile industry.

Drawing on the manufacturer’s ESL X concept, which was first introduced in 2019, the Quad ESL 2812X and ESL 2912X Loudspeakers present music with outstanding depth and range across both designs. Presented in a unique four-panel design that combines treble and midrange panels, each model delivers Quad’s signature balanced and effortlessly natural sound.
Developed under the expert leadership of Paul McConville, the Quad ESL 2812X and ESL 2912X Loudspeakers are the result of exhaustive research and development. This is evident in the high level of attention to detail, from the carefully selected passive and active components to the refined aesthetic of the casing, which enhances the performance.
The Quad ESL 2812X Loudspeakers offer a smaller alternative, measuring 1070mm in height, while the ESL 2912X Loudspeakers come in at 1470mm for those with more space and performance expectations. Both versions are visually striking loudspeakers, with a presence elevated thanks to the use of a subtle LED halo option that illuminates them from beneath.
With a similar attention to detail in their internal workings that delivers exceptional acoustics, the Quad ESL 2812X and ESL 2912X Loudspeakers are a triumph of audio gear engineering.
