Seventy-five years have passed since Ferry Porsche unveiled his vision of the perfect sports car to the world, giving birth to a culture, an ambition, and a new way of thinking. As we celebrate this momentous milestone of ‘Driven by Dreams,’ Porsche Design joins in the commemoration with the release of the Chronograph 1 – 75 Years of Porsche Edition.
Limited to just 475 pieces, this special model showcases the exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail that Porsche Design is known for. Powered by the COSC-certified Porsche Design Caliber WERK 01.140, this chronograph pays homage to the original Chronograph I, the first timepiece created by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche in 1972 to mark the founding of Porsche Design.
The Chronograph 1 – 75 Years Edition features a Fuchs rotor with a colored Porsche emblem beneath a sapphire crystal, reminiscent of its predecessor. The case, crafted from high-quality titanium, boasts a black titanium carbide coating, adding a touch of elegance and durability.
To further celebrate the 75th anniversary, the chronograph is offered with a specially developed textile/leather strap, adorned with light blue decorative stitching and a woven red stripe at its center, mirroring the iconic logo’s colors. Alternatively, it is also available with a black leather strap, accentuated by matching black stitching.
