Off‑road fans can now get a taste of factory racing tech in a production side‑by‑side. Polaris has unveiled the RZR Pro R Ultra Edition, the most advanced version of its flagship UTV. At the heart of the Ultra is the new DYNAMIX DVS suspension with electronically controlled hydraulic locking sway bar links.

Three selectable modes — Semi‑Active, Locked and Unlocked — adjust up to 200 times per second, allowing each wheel to articulate independently for maximum traction on rocks or to firm up for high‑speed desert runs. The system is adapted from Polaris’ championship‑winning race program, which helped secure the SCORE Series title and back‑to‑back Baja 1000 victories.

Beyond the trick suspension, the RZR Pro R Ultra Edition uses Polaris’ 225‑hp four‑cylinder engine with a 74‑inch stance and a 104.5‑inch wheelbase to offer 29-inches of usable suspension travel. A new Velocity Blue paint job, 32‑inch BFGoodrich KM3 tires and an MPI racing steering wheel set it apart visually. Inside, the UTV boasts the largest display in its class: a 10.4‑inch vertical touchscreen running Polaris’ RIDE COMMAND system with GPS mapping. Rockford Fosgate Stage 4 audio with a 1,500‑watt amplifier ensures the soundtrack matches the ride, while heated and vented seats mean comfort doesn’t take a back seat.

The RZR Pro R Ultra Edition will be produced in a run of 500 units worldwide. Pricing starts at $46,999 for the two‑seat version and $50,999 for the four‑seat, with shipments to dealers beginning in February 2026. For more details, visit the Polaris press release.
While off-roading can take many forms, with race‑derived tech, a powerful engine and limited availability, the RZR Pro R Ultra Edition is poised to be the desert’s most coveted toy.
