Panerai marks its 100‑year presence in Florence’s Piazza San Giovanni with the Viaggio nel Tempo Experience Set, a collector’s package comprising two 47 mm Radiomir watches and an invitation to join a four‑day journey through Italy. Both watches use the original cushion‑shaped case with thin wire lugs and screw‑down crowns to achieve 100 meters of water resistance. A domed Plexiglas crystal adds vintage charm.
One timepiece is fashioned from Panerai’s signature bronze alloy. The metal will develop a unique patina over time and features a California dial that mixes Roman and Arabic numerals, luminous hands and a small seconds subdial. The companion watch uses Platinumtech, a proprietary platinum alloy noted for its scratch resistance. Its sandwich dial has cut‑out numerals revealing a luminescent disc below. Both pieces are powered by hand‑wound P.5000‑series movements offering eight days of power reserve.
Owners of the set will also receive an immersive trip exploring Panerai’s workshops, historical archives and maritime heritage. The limited edition is presented in a bespoke wooden box and will be offered to select clients through Panerai boutiques.
