Much to everyone’s surprise, Packer Shoes just dropped its latest venture with adidas Consortium with the first-ever collaboration using the Ultra 4D silhouette. The Packer x adidas Consortium Ultra 4D is a lifestyle/performance silhouette that combines an UltraBOOST upper with a futuristic 4D midsole. The Ultra 4D is the latest piece of adidas’ push to make its 4D tech more accessible — and Packer has succeeded in creating a shoe that is both elegant and exciting.

The Packer team has dressed up the Ultra 4D to feature a rich ocean blue Primeknit upper with pigskin suede mudguards placed on the forefoot, bonded overlay detailing, and a webbing strip down the heels. Two more shades of blue are introduced via the mesh back and text-branded EVA heel clip. Packer’s distinctive triangular orange-and-red ‘P’ logo appears on the tongue and insoles, while the aglets provide a pop of red. The piece de resistance is an all-black 4D midsole built of light, oxygen, and liquid resin, which sits atop a textured blue rubber outsole to complete the look (and feel) that sneaker lovers everywhere are apparently scrambling to get.
