There has always been something inherently special about a Mercedes-Benz. The brand has been synonymous with luxury for decades, yet with the recent debut of the OKCU Mercedes-Benz V-Class Elegance Edition, it takes luxury to a whole new level.
Billed as a private jet on wheels, it’s only appropriate that the car was unveiled at the very OTT Dubai Motor Show. OKCU, who has turned out a slew of custom V-Class models, tipped the normally unglamorous van on its head with this spectacular showing.
OKCU completely transformed the interior into an oasis for elegance. They began by fitting four leather seats at the back that each face each other, evoking the same interior of a private jet. The sumptuous leather thrones are accompanied by two large armrests and center consoles in between each seat. OKCU has also replaced the roof lining with a customized feature inspired by Rolls-Royce’s Starlight Headliner, providing a canopy of glowing stars as if you’re soaring through the night sky instead of rolling down dark city streets.
The flourishes are accompanied by handcrafted wooden accents through the cabin that perfectly compliment the Nappa leather seats and panels. A Bang & Olufsen sound system, leg rests, and seat massagers add extra premium touches.
Riders simply just need to sit back and relax while they enjoy a chilled drink from the included bar, or take that all important conference call from the car’s cutting-edge mobile communications technology.
