Mexico-based Nisolo, producer of fine footwear and accessories, has released their Andres All Weather Boot. Handmade in a family-run factory in León, the Andres All Weather Boot is a classic design, created with exceptional craftsmanship. Available in a waterproof natural oil-based leather upper and a waterproof suede or waxed suede upper, the boot sports a cushy low profile Vibram mini lug sole, which gives the Andres a good amount of grip while retaining a nice, subtle silhouette. A gusseted tongue is included in the construction, ensuring that the elements aren’t able to leak through to the foot.
The Andres is also fully leather lined and the footbed is thick and padded, especially under the heel, where Nisolo has inserted a noticeable cushion. This makes for terrific shock absorption, particularly when combined with the light weight of the boot. The Andres is Nisolo’s first stab at the all important, plain toe, low profile service boot, a must for any man’s wardrobe.
