With the imminent arrival of the Chinese New Year this February, many of the world’s leading brands have lined up their limited-edition releases honoring this year’s zodiac, the horse. Joining the fray is the new Nike Pegasus Premium “Year of the Horse” Runner, a zodiac-themed sneaker presented in a stunning color combination that leans toward introspection rather than ostentatious bold elements.

Set for release to the public in the spring of 2026, the Nike Pegasus Premium “Year of the Horse” Runner sneakers take the core of the Nike Pegasus Premium and refine it through a series of design touches. Perhaps most notable is the removal of the traditional fabric pull tab, with the new edition instead featuring a wing-shaped tag that echoes the winged hose of Greek mythology.

The Nike Pegasus Premium “Year of the Horse” Runner sneakers continue the Pegasus-inspired design themes with brogue and paisley-style iconography, beautifully offset by the pink elements that mismatch across the left and right shoes. Likewise, the custom insoles are elevated by the open-field graphics that nod to the wild horses’ natural habitat, for an overall consistently stylish aesthetic that retains the themes and inspirations throughout.
With a release date set for spring 2026, the Nike Pegasus Premium “Year of the Horse” Runner is an impressive start to the brand’s lineup for next year.
