For over 2 years, Nike has been developing a new proprietary material aimed at enhancing its range of yoga apparel. The Nike Infinalon Yoga Collection puts that final product into practice. Each piece in the collection is made out of Infinalon material that is designed to handle the unique rigors yogis put their bodies through. Like any piece of yoga apparel, flexibility is key. The new Nike material offers elastic recovery that is twice as efficient as spandex. Unlike spandex, Infinalon is engineered to retain its size, softness, and fit when it’s stretched to the max. Fine pieces of yarn are woven into multiple layers that comprise the material giving it a high degree of density, even at a low weight that makes it feel like it’s simply an extension of your body.
The first wave of pieces in the Nike’s newest yoga line has been released with additions set for April 1st. The material graces everything from tops, shorts, and pants that fit any body type with unrivaled integrity.
