With a nod to Mother Earth, Nike is set to drop their ACG Holiday 2020 Apparel Collection, with 85% of the collection using over 90% recycled content. Smith Rock, a volcanic structure in Oregon, served as the inspiration for the ACG Collection with the colors and patterns of the rocks represented throughout the collection. Nike has created a wide ranging selection of highly durable and functional apparel which includes graphic tees, GORE-TEX Jackets, a hoodie fleece, convertible pants, and two new shoes – the Nike ACG Mountain Fly GORE-TEX and a winter colorway update to the Nike ACG Air Nasu GORE-TEX.
The waterproof, windproof and breathable Nike ACG Misery Ridge GORE-TEX Jacket is a particular highlight of the collection. It features GORE-TEX’s three-layer fabric with 100 percent recycled polyester on the exterior and interior layers. Alongside this staple, midlayer pieces like the Nike ACG Rope De Dope Jacket (an insulated, packable puffer jacket) and the Nike ACG Polartec Wolf Tree Hoodie (a new fleece that uses 100 percent recycled materials) serve as layering complements. Nike is currently taking pre-orders and will be shipping starting on November 12th.
