High-end turntable enthusiasts have another exciting model from Musical Fidelity, a manufacturer with a strong track record in the industry, to consider adding to their home sound system. Drawing on over thirty years of development and manufacturing, the new Musical Fidelity M6xTT Turntable represents the latest engineering from this established brand.
Building on the established design philosophies first outlined by founders Antony Michaelson and Heinz Lichtenegger in the iconic M1 turntable, the Musical Fidelity M6xTT Turntable utilizes metal alloys and acrylic for zero resonating performance. With a decoupled motor separate from the tonearm and platter through a dual chassis construction, it’s an affordable alternative to the M1 that pairs with stunning amplifiers.
The Musical Fidelity M6xTT Turntable uses a 9-inch tonearm with a shortened tube and streamlined headshell design for ultra-low resonance audio reproduction. It is fully adjustable and has TPE damping. The foam support provides additional resonance damping for the motor and platter, combined with sophisticated speed control technology to deliver optimal precision.
Likewise, the motor’s precision DC-driven AC generator prevents playback from being hampered by mains power issues, while the one-piece belt minimizes potential flaws in performance. Heavyweight damped aluminum feet form the foundation for the Musical Fidelity M6xTT Turntable, supporting the acrylic plinths and using Teflon spacers and adjustment controls.
The Musical Fidelity M6xTT Turntable includes a leather mat and record puck in the package, which is another exceptional release from a brand with the know-how to deliver outstanding audio performance.
