In 2002, Mk II was launched as the first company to offer watch parts and customization services for other makers’ watches, such as Luminox and the Seiko Diver series. Mk II grew into an American watch company, building on the success of its design and workmanship, that specializes in custom, Japanese and Swiss-made tool watches sold exclusively under the Mk II brand. Now, the brand has released the Stingray II Keroman, which is its iteration of the iconic Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. Mk II has chosen to use the iconic bezel design and the case body shape that are both reminiscent of the Fifty Fathoms.

A modern, everyday wear watch, The Stingray II Keroman has a thick case that is bead blasted, with the bezel sitting flush against the case. Mk II has given the Stingray II a robust crown and a date window at 4:30. The Stingray also has a curved caseback, as opposed to a flat caseback, angling the watch for a more comfortable wear. The 40mm watch is built with 200 meters of water resistance along with a Seiko NE15C automatic movement with bi-directional automatic winding, and with a 50-hour power reserve for precision on land and at sea. The Stingray II is available with either a modern aluminum bezel inlay or a vintage-styled acrylic inlay. The watch comes with a choice of a Nytex khaki or black strap, or a black rubber strap.
