Paramount Drops The Official Teaser Trailer For ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’

“You’re fighting to save an ideal that doesn’t exist. It never did. You need to pick a side.”

Today, Paramount Pictures released the first official teaser trailer of its highly-anticipated film Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. Tom Cruise reprises his role as Ethan Hunt in this action-packed installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise, and the trailer gives us a glimpse at the first of two films in the epic action franchise’s conclusion.

The trailer includes Cruise’s Hunt, an agent at the fictional IMF spy agency, being told that his “days of fighting for the greater good are over” and that he needs to pick a side when it comes to international espionage. The preview teases several action-packed scenes, including a high-speed car chase and a fight on top of a speeding train. At the end of the trailer, Cruise is seen driving a motorcycle off a cliff and skydiving away.

Ving Rhames returns as Luther Stickell, with Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust, and Vanessa Kirby as Alanna Mitsopolis. Hayley Atwell joins the cast as the character Grace, with Esai Morales as a new villain. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, the movie – delayed several times due to the pandemic – is set to be released on July 14, 2023. The follow-up to Dead Reckoning Part One is set for release on June 28, 2024.
